What runs locally?+
Supported voice and music models run on your Mac after a separate download. Connected AI clients process the requests you share with them. iCloud sync is optional.
Can I use my own voice?+
Record narration, import audio, or use an authorised reference with a supported local voice model. Only use recordings you own or have permission to use.
What will I need?+
Local audio generation needs an Apple silicon Mac and space for model downloads, which can use several gigabytes. Features and languages vary by model.
